Ok so o5-6 looks into an anomalous object called the box, capable of showing future events. Looking into the text, o5-6 says, "Why is it lying to me?" Implying that the box LIED TO HER AND THAT SHE HAS USED IT MORE THAN ONCE! O5-6 also says "I know you already killed whatever is left of them" Implying that the people she was trying to save (likely her family) died. It is also shown that shes used the box more than once, likely meaning that shes trying to find a way to save someone or some people. This implies that O5-6 has used the box repeatedly, trying to find a way to save them, yet it always leads to the same tragic end. The box is not just showing the future, it's showing her future. This leads me to one conclusion: The box is sentient. That’s right, it’s sentient. It’s not just a device that shows events; it has its own motivations. It’s withholding the full future from her, and it’s causing the death of millions, possibly even manipulating the outcomes to its own design. The fact that it lies to her indicates that it has a will of its own, a level of awareness beyond simple functionality. But here's another possibility: This could all be a really bad dream. The phenomenon of false awakenings, where you think you’ve woken up but are still trapped in a dream, could explain why the future feels so warped. Could O5-6 be stuck in an endless nightmare, unable to escape the truth of her death? But even then, there’s a key detail that complicates this theory: it’s implied that O5-6 is already dead. If she’s dead, what’s left of her is a lingering consciousness trapped in an impossible loop—unable to change anything. The box could be part of her purgatory, or perhaps it’s playing its own cruel game. Is it trying to force her to face her fate? In other words, not only is the box sentient, but O5-6 is also stuck in a loop of constant death.
