I prefer pearl size of 5, but see what you like. Try color. It is very subtle, as I see in real pearls. Tilt at 90 degrees makes rotation axis exactly vertical. Tilt at 0 is like looking down on the globe's north pole.
Golden angle spaces out pearls optimally, much as pinecone or pineapple spaces seeds. I wondered if a sphere of pearls would look like a giant pearl. Also, I notice subtle rainbow colors in pearls and also in mother of pearl. I wanted to try out subtle coloring. The sphere has golden angle spirals, as in my dandelion.
