Instructions

• ┈ • ┈ • ┈ • ୨୧ • ┈ • ┈ • ┈ • !! PLEASE DON’T CHOOSE THE AMERICAN BULLFROG FOR THIS ACTIVITY, AS I’VE USED THAT AS MY EXAMPLE. THANK YOU <3 !! Hello everyone! Before we start, this activity is to be able to learn more about amazing frogs and how impressive they really are! This week’s theme is Frogs! Frogs are one of the largest and most diverse groups of amphibians on Planet Earth. Scientists have documented thousands of frog species, and many feature unique traits perfectly adapted to their environment. Frogs can live in woodlands, swamps, meadows, tundras, and even deserts. Depending on the habitat in which it lives, a frog might spend most of its days swimming in lakes and ponds or climbing up into the canopy of a rainforest tree. For this week’s activity, you will be choosing any species of frog of your choice and making a parallax based on that frog and its habitat! For example, if you were to choose the American Bullfrog as your chosen species you could make a parallax of an American Bullfrog in a swamp, as a swamp is one of the American Bullfrog’s natural habitats! After you create your amazing parallax you must research at least 3 facts about the species of frog you chose. These facts can be any fun facts you like (as long as they’re accurate)! You are allowed to add more than 3 facts if you want, but you must have at least 3 facts in your project. The facts can be put anywhere! You can hide them somewhere in the project, type them into the description, etc! As long as they’re somewhere there it doesn’t matter where you put them! You must remix this with your parallax and facts, as then I can keep track at the end of the week of who / who didn’t do the activity. All club members and the co-captain must do the activity, and there’s an example remix that I also made for anyone who may be stuck and not know what to do. If you’re not too sure how to make a parallax you can check out this tutorial made by @-LilWolfy- which is very detailed and informative: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/356355208 Feel free to use images from Google for your parallax, but I’d much prefer if you drew your parallax, even if you don’t think you’re good at drawing. It would be much appreciated, and the more effort you put into this activity the more likely you are to win The Award Of The Week! Please don’t steal anyone’s parallax or art for your parallax. Thank you! List of people who still have to do the activity: @marii-gold @marleycat8 @CelestialPuff @acnhroaldfanclub @Coder_Cat819 @Owlly- @hgwartsaoko @Marinette4Real @teddypuppy_7 @FernyFernFern @Cat_Crazy22 @Shiveringstar @fun_in_the_sun1234 @-Flamingo-Coder- @Thisisme888 @-GreenWonder- @Coals1523 @-FunnyFroggo- @myroslava2015 @Code_Mischeifers @top_hat_123 @FallisHere824 @_-VxoIet-x-Rxse-_ If you are not on the list you either have already completed the activity or were excused from having to do the activity this week! You must do the activity probably or it won’t be counted as completed. Not completing the activity without a reason can result in a warning and could eventually lead to removal from the club :3 If you aren’t able to do the activity, please let me know along with the reason on why you can’t participate. If your reason is valid, you may not do the activity, or if there’s a problem I can try to resolve it :) That’s all! Again, please don’t hesitate to ask me for help if you’re confused or stuck. Description

• ┈ • ┈ • ┈ • ୨୧ • ┈ • ┈ • ┈ • Some species of frogs you can choose for this activity include: - The Poison Dart Frog (information on them here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/2518367 :D) - The Red-Eyed Tree Frog (information on them here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/118274208 <3) - The Desert Rain Frog (information on them here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/856917502 :3) Those are just a few of the species you could choose! There are loads more you can also choose <3 Here are some trustworthy websites you can use to find out some facts about the species you chose: - https://www.twinkl.com/ - https://www.natgeokids.com/ - https://www.kiddle.co/ Those are the main ones that I’d usually use, but there are also loads of others! (Please note that https://www.kiddle.co/ is a lot like Google but just completely kid friendly!) You can obviously also use Google, but the more accurate information would probably be from the websites I linked above. • ┈ • ┈ • ┈ • ୨୧ • ┈ • ┈ • ┈ • Music is Bang by AJR All code by @Natures-Neighbours Idea from @marii-gold All sound effects are from Pixabay Thanks so much for looking at this!
