press space to see both drawings, hold down click and move your mouse to zoom! waaaah super proud of both of these drawings lol!! the backstories are going to be a bit more like a sketch/idea, partly because if a wrote a lot it'd be ton to read, and partly because I'm a liiittle stuck for ideas. but I really like these guys so I'm gonna put as much out there as I can. and I think if I win either of these I will tie them in with some of my other ocs! ★Cyber screen, They/its -The screen can have anything on it! so for this fella, I imagine they live in a bit of a futuristic/sci-fi world. They got in to some sort of accident, causing much of their body, and mainly their head, irreversible damage. they ended up being surrendered, barely alive, to some sort of medical/scientific facility, either by their parents or maybe the facility just took them. either way this facility utilized robotics in order to restore or replace as much of their body as possible, which is mostly well-known and simple, but Cyber(which may or may not be stay their name) had a lot of their brain destroyed in the accident, and so the facility attempted to use AI in order to fill in the gaps of their mind. from the facilities perspective, it was successful, and has let Cyber go back to living a "normal" life (though they keep a close eye on it and bring them in for checks and updates regularly). however the procedure has changed Cyber a lot. they experience confusions and gaps in their memory, as well as bugs and glitches in their software. I think it often struggles with it's own "humanity" and wondering whether they're more machine or person at this point. I think they are grateful for this second chance at life, but I also think that they wish they could go back to feeling like a living thing and not a machine. that's pretty much what I'm thinking for them, I have a couple more smaller ideas but that's the gist of it. I will think more about their lore if I get them. ^-^ Dark clowner, He/she -He gonna find u /j i love this guy so much but i truly have no idea what to do for his story because i feel like he's just some guy. to me she is tired and works a nine to five job and likes to skateboard and drink energy drinks on the weekend. I think he's kind of paranoid, thinks he's being watched often and maybe thinks there's some sort of conspiracy theory happening that isn't there. I'm thinking maybe she works at some sort of like arcade or maybe bowling alley. and maybe there's something suspicious about it. Maybe it's like the song Cabinet Man by Lemon Demon, but from a different perspective. so he works at an arcade because something is definitely weird about the machines there, and she discovers that the arcade machines are sentient and/or there are people trapped within them. he's probably trying to expose whoever did this and probably free the people in the machines. so you just watched me brainstorm in real time. but I like this idea that I've come up with and I am going to be thinking about it. again if I do win the design I'll expand on it more an write it more clearly. aaaa I really like both these designs sm it was a delight to draw them!! I keep wanting to say which one I have a preference for but I really can't decide. good luck to everyone, I'm excited to see the results!!
