Scratch has been dull for me recently. I have no motivation for anything like animating, which i used to have a lot of for. I'm 17 now and a Junior in Highschool, soon to be a senior. I feel like I'm getting too old for this and I may need to move on soon, I don't know when but I know for a fact that I will not be using scratch at all when I move to college. Lately, and this is going to sound extremely selfish, but my recent projects have not been getting the amount of attention to keep my motivation going. Sure, my projects average about 30-60 views, but here's the thing. I used to do low effort ays projects which get about 500-17k views.. 17K. IS MY MOST VIEWED PROJECT AND YOU KNOW WHAT IT WAS? AN AYS. okay okay so thats fine, what about my normal passion projects? Like Mortem versus Myra? 158 views. Which is still good dont get me wrong but i put two weeks into that compared to the ays projects which each took me abt 2 days. In summary, my low effort projects do better than my high effort projects and it upsets me, SO MUCH. What about my projects that get a sufficient amount of views but do not meet my expectations? Like my 3 year DMC, it got EIGHT REMIXES, OUT OF 109 PEOPLE WHO VIEWED IT-.. The artworks were amazing.. But that's all I can say about it.. Thank you all who participated.. Oh and thank you who to those who wished me happy birthday, you guys made my day. That's.. all I'm going to say. dmc results will be out soon. Give me prize ideas please-..
