Basically, In my AU, Kinito was originally a normal desktop assistant when a rival tech company stole his software to make their own ultra-realistic desktop assistant, and they didn't treat Kinito well, making him clingy and possessive to whoever downloads him, and, in the process of cloning his code, they accidentally created a eldritch demon who they dubbed "WENDIGO" after the project name, which they then merged with Kinito when his creators find him, so whenever Kinito gets mad, WENDIGO will come out and will kill his downloader
