LORE: 3 months after escaping the rift, you made it back home but you had some kind of weird glow around you. You decided to go to a lab, and they tested it and realized one particle could produce 1,000,000,000,000 kilowatts of energy. A local electronics company called "rovots" heard about this and (with their billions of dollars) hired new employees to find lajer rifts, and hunt for lajers so they could create new batteries and incredibly long lasting electronics. It wasn't long, though, before something bad happened. The lajer energy completely took over robots and a disaster started. all the robots built a giant floating recharge fortress/weapon of destruction. you and your friends use a helicopter to get there and use improved weapons to defeat the rovots... maybe...
