Please read all of the description, as it tells exactly what I did for each entry and includes the link to the Animation Memes. ~Prey of the Night~ Accurate Drawing 1. Flat color 2. Background (please enjoy the background I painted it and it took so long) Backstory (I just wrote a short story for Prey of the Night) TRIGGER WARNING (mentions of wounds and pain) Butter leaped out of the damp, stuffy woods and into a sunny meadow. His mother was horribly sick and had sent him out to find the one herb that could cure her. She had barely been able to rasp the instructions into his ear, and her words were not even a whisper. He jumped over a shallow pond as he strained his mind to remember the description that Mother had given him. “It grows underground, but you can find growing in patches of tall grass. It is a bright green plant with small, pale flowers that look like daisies.” Butter’s eyes scanned over the field of long grass, his gaze finally resting on a clump of grass with small flowers sprinkled around it. “There!” he raced off towards the knoll the patch of flowers was located on. He ran top speed all the way to the first white flower. Only then did he start to slow his pace. He tried to come to a stop, but he was already multiple leaps away from the patch of healing plants. Butter’s hooves skidded on slick grass for a heartbeat, then the ground disappeared from under his legs. Panic sparked in his eyes as he fell, screaming in fear. He plunged down the hidden cliff and towards the rocky terrain below. He hit the ground with a sickening crack, then he knew no more. Butter awoke with a start to the rising moon. Everything hurt, but he couldn’t even raise his head to see how much damage was done. He knew that his shoulder was badly wounded, as all he could feel there was pain. From the twisted position he was in, he could see at least four bruises, most of them swollen and agonizing. He could not get up, which meant that he would not be able to get any food. His stomach rumbled at the thought of prey, and he wished he could fill it. Butter realized with a jolt that he would not be able to cure his mother. His stomach sickened even more at the thought of his mother, all alone in their makeshift den of bushes and dirt. Suddenly, an all-too-familiar scent washed over him and his pupils narrowed to slits as he recognized the scent. He was prey to a wolf. “I am prey. I’m Prey of the Night.” he thought. Bio Names: Butter, later changes name to Prey of the Night Appearance: Light brown fur with a darker tails and splashes of brown on his paws. Has downturned ears, brown ear tufts and light horns. Legwarmer on left hind leg. Also has many scars from his fall down a cliff when he was very young. Personality: - Positive: was kind and helpful when he was younger - Negative: cold-hearted, will fight at the twitch of an ear Notes: before the cliff accident, he was kind and helpful, setting out to find a cure for his sick mother. After, he became mean and crazed at the loss of his mother. He blames her loss on himself. Lighting Animation Meme Link: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1152627581 Backstory (this one is much shorter) Shimmer loves to swim in the ocean with her family, and therefore has become a very strong swimmer. She is her family’s Hunter, which means she must bring back loads of prey every night to help care for her family. Her father is the family’s Protector, so he keeps his wife and kids safe from any harm that might come their way. Shimmer loves her family very much and always does her best to brighten up their lives. Bio Names: Shimmer, Shimmering Depths Appearance: Light and dark blues with a lighter face and underbelly. Has a dark blue, long tail. Yellow eyes. Tuft of “hair” that covers her left eye. Two large antenna that attach to the top of her head. Personality: -Positive: kind, caring, LOVES her family -Negative: sometimes feels jealous of how good her friends are at fishing Notes: Shimmer loves her family and is even their Hunter Original Reference Yeah Extra Ref 1.
