teaser-Ro woke up at the sharp sound of a knock on her door. She jumped out of bed with a start, and tripped on her tail in the process. Head on the unclean stone floor, Ro had the option to spend some time to think and process the situation calmly. Of course, Ro was way too excited to even brush herself off after standing back up. Ro’s house was relatively small, and it was easy to get to the door in seconds. When she reached the door, Ro pulled the thatch door with enough force to rip it off its hinges. On the other side of the door, was a letter. Ro examined the envelope: it is gold, with yellow flowers scattered across the otherwise solid design. She opened the letter. Inside was a piece of old paper, which had been clearly written on in a rush, as the strokes of ink appeared as if it had been dragged along the page. Ro skimmed the letter over and over, but she had a hard time believing this was really happening. The letter said something that would undoubtedly change Ro’s life forever: “Dear Ro, You are invited to attend a job interview due to your expertise in the subject of underground farming and fauna. I sincerely hope that you will be there, as I know you are perfect for this job- King Asriel.” wow. An invitation from king Asriel was an absolute honour. Ro didn’t even take the time to brush her fur before she ran over to the castle with the most joy she had ever felt in her life. At the entrance, Ro was greeted by a small froggit, who told her where to go and that she can do it-or-maybe. What he really said was: “ribbit” but it was promising. As Ro was walking down the hall with her matted cream fur, she looked around and noticed the framed pictures on the walls above the patterned windows. The images were of the king when he was younger, along with his adopted human sibling, Chara. In the photos, The king and chara were making flower crowns or making a chocolate pie. At the end of the hall, a picture of the King’s family. King Asriel was holding a bouquet of flowers with his sibling, who was looking down. Behind them, a large goat with a golden beard and a purple robe stood beside another goat-like monster. This one was female with a similar coloured robe with the symbol of the underground, the Deltarune on the front. They were all smiling in the photo, and Ro imagined the King had a wonderful life with his loving family. When Ro was done admiring the picture, she walked into the throne room. “Oh! Hello, Ro! I’m glad you could make it!” greeted King Asriel with a warm smile. Ro smiled back at the King, and noticed beside him was a figure, wearing a cloak that covered there’re face in shadow. The king continued: “I’m sure you are aware of the recent shortage in seeds and such. We rely on the cave in the ruins for things that are inaccessible underground. Unfortunately, the barrier covers this possible exit, making it only possible for things to enter, such as resources brought by the wind. You have been chosen to collect these seeds and deliver them to snowdin, just outside of the ruins.” he gestures towards the figure. “ I would like to thank our friend here for the idea, and I have heard good things about you from him, who is a friend of Alphys.” The figure stood up taller, as if he was demonstrating his authority. King Asriel turned to the figure and said in a soft, sweet voice, “Is there anything you would like to say? You have been surprisingly quiet.” The figure looked annoyed by the king’s remark, but before the King could open his mouth to apologise, The figure said in a low, gruff voice, “sorry…very…very sorry” He spoke really slowly, as if each word he said was a sentence. THATS IT FOR NOW
