London-based Studios KidsCo Productions UIBN Productions Kids & Family announced that in 2007, it'll acquire Hasbro Entertainment along with other Toyland Entertainment assets, Based on... Entertainment and Alliance Atlantis. In 2009, it was also announced that Viacom will acquire said companies (aside from Alliance Atlantis). In 2006, Toyland Channel was launched alongside its sister channels Toyland Junior, Toyland Action, Toyland Boys, Toyland Girls, Toyland Retro & Toyland Movies, where they're air content from that company & The Hub, which is later became Hub Network in 2014, in 2009, the channels became part of MTV Networks after the acquisition by Viacom.
