Dear Diary, I am lying awake in bed as I write. I have not gotten a wink of sleep. I am still going over the events of today in my head. I still haven't had a chance to talk to Holly because I spent the entire day sitting in bed crying. I look out my window and see the sun starting to rise. I suppose it's time to get out of bed. I wash my face because there are still tear stains. I am very tired so I pull out my wand and say "Exhilaro." Exhilaro is the exhilarating spell. As soon as I cast the spell I feel like I can run a thousand laps around Hogwarts. The spell definitely worked. I rush to the Great Hall to eat breakfast. I made sure to seem really happy so Holly would think I said yes to Draco. By the time I got to the Great Hall, Holly was already there eating spoonfuls of her favorite cereal Magic O's. She looked up from her cereal bowl and waved. "Hi Raven!" I smiled. "Hi Holly! You'll never guessed what happened yesterday! Draco asked me to the dance!" I made sure to let out an excited screech. "Wow. Really?" She mumbled. She had this confused and shocked expression on her face. She looked as if she had no idea Draco would do that. She also looked kind've sad. Suddenly it dawned on me. Holly really did like Draco. I guess this was another one of those times when I could tell what she was thinking. "Hey Holly, I know you still like him." I gently added. "What!?" She shrieked. "Yeah, I can tell. And the truth is, I don''t like Draco anymore. In fact, I said no when he asked me to the dance." I confessed. Holly let out a sigh of relief and mumbled "Thank you." I don't know if Holly is gonna ask Draco, or if Draco is gonna ask Holly, but either way, I hope they go to the dance together. Suddenly Holly exclaimed. "But Raven, who's gonna go to the dance with you?!" "I don't know." I said. "Besides, I don't need a date to the dance to enjoy a night with my friends." Holly smiled. Oh, well.
