Iron man got hold of the gauntlet, he said “I am iron man” snapped to destroy thanos whole army. But what if he snapped to make himself strong enough to live through the snap? Like @chewbaccaguy has talked about numerous times. Well Thanos army would still get dusted, but iron man would live, and continue being a hero. With no Steve Rogers to confront him, he would go into a situation where no one challenged his decisions. He went on inventing and saving, becoming more and more convinced he was infallible. He then thought if he ruled the world then it would be much better. He conquered a European country called Latervia. Pepper and Morgan abounded him. He wanted to separate himself from Tony stark and iron man. He changed his name to victor von doom, and wore mental armor and green cloth, everyone called him doctor doom. Eventually he found out about the multiverse. This story may continue in doomsday, it can unless doomsday debunks this possibility. I don’t know I have not read the script.
