-Me- Tall oak trees ringed the camp, they seemed to reach for the sky, farther than Dew could see. Her younger brother, Dusky, sat next to her and their mother with wide eyes as the Sisters' yowled into the night sky, summoning spirits if the dead. Cinder, the leader, of course lead the summons. The bright full moon above cast a white glow over their fur. Dew's dark brown fur blended into Dusky's so much they could have looked like one cat, if not for the white diamond on Dew's forehead. Cinder bowed as a ghostly cat appeared, she looked almost white with a tint of ash black. "Oh get up" the ghost meowed to Cinder. "Very well" the leader said, straightening up. "Relax, Daughter. You are in the presence of your own, not a stranger. "Yes, Mother" Cinder dipped her head respectfully, still feeling the need to be formal. "Who's that?" Dusky whispered. "That's Ash, leader before Cinder." Maple whispered back before stepping up. "Mother, due to traditions we have called the spirits for a night of chat! Bring all of the other good-spirits and lets catch up, meet the new cats, as we have new kits since you've last been summoned" she sent a smile to Dusky who pressed into Dew in embarrassment. Ash, or Mother as Dew was supposed to call her, nodded and disappeared into the darkness. Cinder licked her chest fur before gathering silence with a flick of her tail. "The ghosts will be here soon! May your ancestors find you!" With that the Sisters broke up into groups, chatting excitedly about who they thought would come and greet them. Leaf walked up to Dew. "Sister, would you like to go hunting with me and Nettle?" Leaf cocked her head as Dew considered this. "Sure! Goodbye Dusky, I'll be back later." The three cats padded through the forest, grass flattened under paw. "Mouse!" Nettle whispered dropping into an awkward crouch. Before Nettle could spring, a crunch of bones snapping came from the trees where the mouse was. "What the?" Leaf muttered, tail flicking angrily. "Hey..!" Nettle started but couldn't muster anymore words. Dew on the other paw... She recognized these scents, there were two males. Both she could somehow recognize. The cats walked out of the shadows, one was a black with brown and gold spattering through his fur, he almost looked like Dusky. The other one had long white fur with light grey and brown. "Oh sorry" said the younger black one. "Were you hunting this mouse? You can have it if you want. My names Shade by the way, this is my friend Blizzard." The other tom nodded but looked suspiciously at Dew... -You- All characters belong to me Thanks to Erin Hunter for writing Warrior Cats!
