(Future designs for other characters, like Julia's parents, may come in the future.) You may remember over a year ago I made this project, detailing all my characters. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/950628298/ For the longest time, I've wanted to redo it, for a multitude of reasons: > I wanted to add more characters. > I wanted to give more unique clothing and shape to each character. > I wanted to pose each character. > I wanted to give the characters more accurate personalities. > I wanted to...well I just wanted to do it ok? And now, after procrastinating on it for months, I've finally updated a majority of my recurring characters! There was a lot of thought into redoing many of the designs. The main goal was exaggeration yet simplification. Here's a run down of all of them: Khalil - Actually pretty much the same design since Day 1. I just gave him more of a "smug" look. Also...I slightly chaged his jeans color. Julia - I kinda draw the ends of her hair in a more "wing style" now, and gave her a super duper insane happy go lucky expression. Falk - Definitely needed a redesign. His original design was WAY too convoluted to redraw over and over again. His new design is simple, yet still uses his iconic blue and orange...now with a vest! (Also, he's slightly pigeon toed now.) Sandy - Gave her what I feel is a more classy, calm design with a simple T-shirt and slippers. Her hair is slightly shorter and a different shade of brown. She also has cat ears, a shout-out to her actor, @marshmellothelegend. Flame - First character I redesigned, actually. His original design was already pretty good, I simply gave him more of a trapezoidal and athletic build, and simplified the fire on his head. Cammy - A bit of a more "teen girl" design, with shoulder hair length now, a T-shirt, jean shorts, and- *gasp* the unthinkable...the most risqué thing ever done...a BRA STRAP! Lila - Mostly the same as when I originally envisioned her, just slightly pudgier. Also, if your wondering where her "frog obsession" came from, it's from a possible future animation...about frogs. Nate - Also pretty similar, except with a more "yucky yellow" as Cupcake describes. I'd say "pukey green". He's also slightly thinner and lankier. Sweary Parents - Nearly exactly the same, just with...C O L O R Mr. Scalene - I paled up his skin and fattened him up to give you the idea "this guy really let himself go". (Did you know he's actually Mrs. Zelluar's brother?) Mrs. Zellular - Even MORE of a crazy science teacher now, dontya think? I gave her a bit of an "old woman" vibe, with pale skin, yellow teeth, and a...mumu, I think it's called. But anyway, that's mostly all I have to say for the updated character designs.
