You can choose which depth to be at, but you need to buy upgrades to go deeper after a certain point. Alternatively, you can use the up and down arrows. SELLING - Click on the Ore Inc. building to sell ores. The list will display your ores and how many you are keeping. Press "s" to sell all ore not being kept. Press "k" to change how much more you want to keep. Keeping ore prevents that much of that ore from being sold. To exit the building, press the space bar. BUYING - Click on Mark's Mining Supplies to open up the first shop. Press the number key corresponding to an item to purchase it. (ex: If you want to buy 1- Depth Contract 1, you would press 1) Items can cost money, ores, or both. Ores being kept cannot be used to pay for an item. If you do not have all of the ores or the money required to buy an item, you cannot buy it. There are more shops deeper, down, with one being right before the Furnace T1, and one right after the reactor. FURNACE T1 - After buying Depth Contract 2, go to the bottom and you will find the furnace. To activate the furnace, you need to pay $100,000 dollars. In the furnace, you can turn Malachite, Hematite, and Argentite into their refined forms: Copper, Iron, and Silver. This costs Coal. To smelt these ores, press the corresponding number key, just like the shop. You need both 10 of the ore and 10 coal for each smelting session. The rate is 10 ore + 10 coal = 1 smelted ore. You can check how much smelted ore you have by holding "c". To exit the building, press the space bar. FURNACE T2 - Similar to the Tier 1 Furnace, except now it can smelt Chromite, Sperrylite, and Kimberlite into Chromium, Platinum, and Diamond. The rate is now 15 ore + 15 Coal = 1 smelted ore. To exit the building, press the space bar. THE REACTOR: After purchasing Depth Contract 5, you unlock the final building: The Reactor. Using 20 Californium, you can turn 20 of either Chromium, Platinum, Diamond, Californium or ??? into fused ores. (Not gonna spoil them!) You can view these ores by pressing "f", but only after you've built the reactor. These fused ores are used for the shop under the reactor, which provides many useful upgrades. That is, if the shop is still there. We lost contact a few days ago... SAVING/LOADING - Click the save button to get your save code. Triple click and Ctrl+c. Paste it into a document or someplace you'll remember. To load, make sure your save code is copied, click the load button, and Ctrl+v. WARNING: What you got from buying the upgrades saves, but the items in the shop will say they are not bought, and then they can be bought twice and will do nothing. If you accidentally stop the project without saving, simply click the thumbnail and you can access the saving, loading, and settings. SETTINGS: Click the gear item to access the settings.
