Description

Okay okay, please read this before commenting. Lately I've been seeing lots of people calling cat artists uncreative and saying they just do it for the popularity, some even going as far as saying they're not even artists at all. Now first thing, creative means different, original, it means something new. So I guess you could call cat artists uncreative, but it really depends if you're calling them uncreative because everybody draws them, or because that's all they draw. Because if your calling them uncreative because thats all they draw then why aren't you calling artists who have been drawing humans and only humans for 5-6 years uncreative? But you call artists uncreative because they've been drawing cats for 1-2 years. Now a lot of projects discussing that cats are all that people draw say that they should "stop". You're talking about how thats ALL that people draw not just the fact that they draw cats. Now I do think you have a point honestly, people should branch out and draw other things. But again your talking to young artists who have only been drawing for 1-2 years. I started drawing when I was 9, And I did try to branch out, But the thing was I was trying to improve my cat drawings and everything else too. And if I focused on one thing I forgot another and if I went back to it I again forgot what I was just working on. It was stressful, Now I am starting to draw other things, But it TAKES TIME. Just like it took me TWO YEARS to get where I am now. So please stop bashing people in the head about this :') Sorry about posting another rant almost right after another one ;w; This has just been bothering me for a while, (I drew some non-cat things on the second sprite in the project)
