Story: Mist got mad at Oak for being in the gang that killed her sister. After seeing how upset Mist was Oak went back to the gang to say he was leaving. The leader ,Snake, was mad that Oak wanted to leave the gang. But Snake let him because she knew that Oak loved Mist ,so she order a small group of cats to follow and kill him. Mist was close by went Oak got attchent and she could hear him yelling. She ran to help him. When she got there Oak divivered a final blow and killed one of the cats (a gray tom). Mist ran to help Oak she dived and clawed at a dark brown she-cat who holwed and ran off. She watched as she ran making sure she wouldn't come back. As Mist turned to go help Oak finish off the last cat Oak yowled and fell to the ground blood began following from his neck. "No!" she yelled as she flung herself at the last cat , a white tom, and clawed his back. He left Oak to attack Mist. He tied to jump on her but she dodged and he only managed to claw her back leg. Mist turned to face the tom and jumped trying to bite his neck he moved out of the way and clawed Mist face. "Face it kitty you cant save your boyfriend!" the white tom teased. "Shut Up!" Mist yelled as she slid under the tom's belly with her claws out. As Mist stood up the tom turned and looked at her a pained expression on his face blood dripping from his belly. Then without a word her turned and ran. "Mist" Oak said his voice was so quite. Mist ran over to him. "Oak! Oak I'm sorry." Mist began to cry "Oak this is my fault." He smiled "It's okay" he said in a small voice. "No it's not your dieing!" Mist yelled. She rest her head on Oak's flank sobbing into his fur. "Mist" Oak said his voice quitter than before. Mist looked up and staired at Oak's face. "Snake is going to send more cats to kill us you have to go" Oak said worry on his face. "No I cant leave you!" Mist said the tears still flowing from her eyes. "Please" Oak send his voice getting weaker. Mist just now registered the amount of blood on the ground. "I can't leave you Oak! I-I love you." Mist said. Oak smiled "I...love.... you...too..." he said the smile fading from his face as his head fell to the floor surrounded by a pool of blood. "No.. No! Oak please! Please!" Mist cried as she sat next to his dead body. "Please." Mist said quietly as she sobbed. "This way!" A voice from around the corner yelled. It must be the backup Mist thought. "I'm sorry Oak" She turned and ran away from the voices leaving behind the only cat she ever loved.
