About MiNiSTRY ----------------------- Ministry was an Amiga cracking group formed by previous members of Crack Inc., Nemesis (Action Man, N.O.M.A.D, Zelnik) and TKK (Obituary) in 1992 when those groups fell apart. They had members in Belgium, USA, Germany and the UK. They were probably the strongest cracker group since Crystal and the old Skid Row. For a while, Vanish was their demo division. Having not made any releases since 1993, Ministry is considered disbanded. Really clever what Brainwalker has done, yet so damned simple. For those that want to know, if you concentrate on only one moving part of the effect its almost possible to see how its done, but all that complex movement and maths you think is there……isn’t. Its two bitmaps, one scrolling diagonally down moving from left to right, and the other bitmap is scrolling diagonally up from left to right, and when the two bitmaps cross over gives the effect of lots more going on. I’m sure it took a while to get the pattern right where it looked so damned good, but my hat is doffed that even in the Amiga scenes later history, it could produce something that looked so damn unique."
