The Valiant-class ironclad warships were built from 1860 to 1867, and were Aquilla's first warships. Valiant: Commissioned 1861, condemned to training ship 1890, struck 1935, museum since 1940 Warhawk: Commisioned 1864, struck 1885, sold 1890 as cargo barge, scrapped around 1915 Foundation: Commissioned 1867, condemned to barracks barge ABB-1 1900, sunk 1960, raised 1965 and returned to service, to be replaced in 2030
