The 100 members of Parliament have been in heated discussion on who will be the best person to be the First King of a new Monarchy. Johnathan, a man loved by the people, who believes that a true King serves the people. Mothos, another man loved by the people, a veteran of the war, and also believes in serving the people. Finally, there is Skylos, a simple old man, who has gained the respect of even the mightiest on Earth for his humility, and his respect for all people. These were all good candidates, but in the end, only 1 King could be chosen. After weeks of debate, votes were cast, and a King was chosen. Mothos only got 11 votes, as he didn't have much experience in serving a major political role. Johnathan got 46 votes, though being only his early 20s, has wisdom beyond his years, and is respected by many members of Parliament. Skylos got 43 votes, for he was also a strong candidate to be King, as he was the type of man who few men could manipulate. His yes was yes, and his no was no. Skylos, though an old man, was not one to be manipulated, and he was also very honest. The votes between Johnathan and Skylos were close, but in the end, Johnathan was chosen to become King. Mothos was a bit angry at his loss, but he like Skylos accepted the will of Parliament. Johnathan declared the Kingdom to become the Monarchy of Shetha. He also began Project Elijah, a project which plans to diminish the role of Parliament over the next 20 years. Already, Johnathan has significantly weakened the power of Parliament, giving King Johnathan a lot of power.
