This project is really meant for a separate webcam, set up in a hidden place. Basically, the alarm goes off whenever it detects movement. You can also see what the webcam can. (the photo option doesn't work. If you know how to make it take a photo, please remix it or tell me!)
The project was easy to make, and I thought it would be fun and useful. You could have this set up while you are surfing the internet, so it beeps at you when someone passes the webcam.
