AU STORY: Just moons after Bluefur's kitting, Thistleclaw became leader, and Bluefur was exiled and found dead near Snakerocks that same day. Mosskit was mothered by Robinfur since then, so was Stonekit and Mistykit. In her dreams, Mapleshade always visited her and always offered training, for an act of vengeance. Mosskit agrees, and one day, when she becomes an apprentice, her mentor is Tigerclaw. Tigerclaw's training was harsh, and she got many scars, but pushed on since the promise of vengeance was still there. Mosspaw had trained throughout the night in the dark forest, learning the ways of fighting that the living clans had never shown. One day, she received her warrior name, Mosspetal. She worked hard to work up trust, before she decided to take on Thistlestar at night and lead him away to camp, to the border. A predator was led to attack Thistlestar, who was unable to fight back and had drained his life to 1 since all his battles. Mosspetal returned to camp, pretending as if she tried to save Thistlestar and was unable to. The clan mourned for their leader, but Mistyfoot could tell what happened by the faint look in Mosspetal's eyes, victory. Mosspetal realized that Mistyfoot knew and fed her deathberries in her sleep, leading to Mistyfoot's sudden death. The clan was shocked that it happened so soon, but made Stonefur leader, since he had trained an apprentice, Stonefur, despite knowing Mosspetal had not trained an apprentice, makes her deputy. Mosspetal takes advantage, to gain trust on certain cats, Tigerclaw, who was aiming to take over the deputy role himself. Tigerclaw becomes close 'friends' with Mosspetal, before she attacks him in the territory, leaving him shocked and unable to strike for a moment. Unfortunately, Stonestar saw and attacked Mosspetal to help Tigerclaw, and Mosspetal was unable to defend herself from two cats, being overwhelmed from the attacks. After what happened, she was sent to the dark forest, where Mapleshade greeted her like a mother.
