Instructions

Set density to a large number for continuous connection between inner and outer cubes. See if you can see the 8 cubes. Touch screen (hi, lo, left, right) to alter rotation.

Description

Human friendly representation of a tesseract, a 4D cube, or hypercube. Each cube face has another cube extending from it. Where a 3D cube's faces are 2D squares, a 4D cube's faces are each a 3D cube. To evoke that, there are faces extending between cubes. There's no good representation of a 4D cube (tesseract, or hypercube). This representation here looks like the six faces of the "inner" cube each has another cube emanating from it. Our human brains are wired to interpret spatial representations in 3D, so that's what this is. So, in 3D, you see 8 cubes. The original cube's xyz coordinates are all -1 or 1, aiming for minimal code. Then we scale up or down the cube, any number of cubes.
