MIDNIGHT AND MEMORIES ☁⋆*. ⋆⎯ tfcrp ꕀ hosted by @.ChueyTheCat ꕀ⋆ 001 ⸝⸝ INTRO ☾´ˎ˗ ╭┈─┈─┈─┈ ─✩⋆ ༘∘ . ╰▹ momentarymist's mismatched eyes fly open in the middle of the day. shaken from his nap, he climbs to his paws, searching for the noise that had dragged him from his dreams. it had sounded like a kit wailing...but surely he was mistaken? tufted ears twitching, he pads towards the source, heart leaping into his throat when he spots sunlight gleaming on a pair of eyes...or possibly multiple pairs. as he draws closer, he can make out more details: kits, tiny and squirming. four of them. for a moment he stands frozen in shock. he knows what his duty is - he can't just leave them there. however, he also knows he has absolutely no experience with kits, has never wanted to have experience with kits, and has never planned to have a family of his own. "oh, starclan," the pink-hued tom mutters. then he bends to pick up the first kit. ꕀ⋆ 002 ⸝⸝ FOREWORD ☾´ˎ˗ ╭┈─┈─┈─┈ ─✩⋆ ༘∘ . ╰▹ greetings, and welcome to momentarymist's first litter! despite his decidedly antisocial nature and total lack of experience, fate has decided to gift him with an entire pile of kits, who will be raised in the new territories. his kits will get to enjoy being brought up in windclan by a slightly prickly, lonely tom, who definitely never thought he'd be a father and who has no earthly clue what to do with them. what could possibly go wrong? ╭┈─┈─┈─┈ ─✩⋆ ༘∘ . ╰▹ MOMENTARYMIST ꕀ dad . he/him .✶. ┊ ╰▹ momentarymist has spent his life doing his duty. unfortunately, that hasn't left very much time for relationships. he knows next to nothing about parenting, but he believes that he's responsible for the wellbeing of this litter, and he'll strive to do what's best for them at all times. he can come across as strict sometimes, but in the end, he would give his life for them. ⭒. ──. ˚₊‧ ✩ ‧₊˚.── .⭒ ꕀ⋆ 003 ⸝⸝ RULES ☾´ˎ˗ ╭┈─┈─┈─┈ ─✩⋆ ༘∘ . ╰▹ rule 1. please read and uphold tfcrp's rules!! ┊ ╰▹ rule 2. no hate/discrimination of any kind - keep this community friendly <3 ┊ ╰▹ rule 3. no guilt-tripping, whining, disrespect, etc., this will automatically lead to disqualification ┊ ╰▹ rule 4. there's no age requirement you have to keep them to, but please be as active as you can with them - i don't want them doomed to be gathering dust in the storage studios <3 ┊ ╰▹ rule 5. don't give disabilities/conditions to the kit without proper research - if doing so, please provide at least a paragraph about it ┊ ╰▹ rule 6. uhh don't make me add more rules lol ⭒. ──. ˚₊‧ ✩ ‧₊˚.── .⭒ ꕀ⋆ 004 ⸝⸝ KITS ☾´ˎ˗ ╭┈─┈─┈─┈ ─✩⋆ ༘∘ . ╰▹ WHISPER ꕀ afab ꕀ 10" .✶. ┊ ╰▹ in a silent swoop of fur, the first kit stands before you, their pelt a muted lullaby to the forest. quiet beiges and creams swirl and ripple, calling to mind woodland pools and whorls of bark. long, wispy tufts of fur top their ears, and markings on their face give their wide yellow eyes an owlish look. their pale chest bears a feather-shaped splotch. this kit is the oldest of the litter. ┊ ╰▹ special traits: tufted ears (no research required) ╭┈─┈─┈─┈ ─✩⋆ ༘∘ . ╰▹ EVENING ꕀ amab ꕀ8.5" .✶. ┊ ╰▹ a bundle of orange-tinted floof is the next kit to appear, whose pelt is a symphony of peaches and tangerines. spattered with cloudy patches and faint, star-like speckles, their eyes are the blue of a summer sky, and their paws are dipped in pale orange. suns and moons are scattered across their pelt, marking them in celestial patterns, and their ears are crested by soft, fluffy tufts, much like their sibling. this kit is the second oldest of the litter. ┊ ╰▹ special traits: tufted ears (no research required) ╭┈─┈─┈─┈ ─✩⋆ ༘∘ . ╰▹ REMINISCENCE ꕀ amab ꕀ 9.5" .✶. ┊ ╰▹ following their siblings is a softly mottled kit whose pelt is marked in flower-like swirls. inquisitive eyes, one a serene blue and the other a bright gold, are framed by leafy markings, making the kit resemble a garden in desaturated beiges and walnuts. Fluffy fur gives them a soft, rounded appearance, with the splotch of cream on their muzzle adding a touch of levity to their otherwise solemn aspect. this kit is the second youngest of the litter. ┊ ╰▹ special traits: heterochromia (no research required) ╭┈─┈─┈─┈ ─✩⋆ ༘∘ . ╰▹ DAYBREAK ꕀ afab ꕀ 8" .✶. ┊ ╰▹ last but not least is this kit, their face and front legs marked with pale, sky-like designs, while their hind legs and tail are striped. one ear is white and the other orange, giving their face an adorably lopsided look. their paws are slightly lighter than the rest of their body, painted with cream. this kit is the youngest of the litter. ┊ ╰▹ special traits: none
