Here's the official land claim project for Dissension! Remix this project and add your nation's borders! Before you do, though... Read these rules: CULTURAL SPHERES: Depending on you nation's culture and inspirations, your nation will be put in the cultural sphere most fitting it. If you have a European country, don't expect to be allowed to make your borders in the Asian sector. FIRST COME, NOT FIRST SERVE: Just because you're the first to make your borders somewhere doesn't mean you're entitled to it. We have a lot of people with a lot of nations, and everyone's gonna get an equal opportunity to get the land they like. Speaking of which... NATION SIZE: You do NOT get to take up an entire continent. Period. You CAN have a really large one, BUT: You NEED to have enough written lore to justify it - Who inhabited it before, how it was taken over, etc. This is to prevent people who might be inactive or not really be very good at RPing from taking up way more land than they should. Remember: The more effort you put into Dissension, the more you'll get out of it. CLIMATE: Try to put your nation in a biome or region that makes sense with its culture and other things. If your nation is supposed to be all volcanically active mountains, don't put your nation in the middle of a steppe. Also, DO keep in mind that climate WILL affect your nation's industrial and food capabilities. If you put your nation on an ice sheet or far-north taiga, don't expect to be working with many materials. BORDER CONFLICTS: To prevent any conflicts, REMIX THIS PROJECT ONLY WHEN MAKING LAND CLAIMS. If your submitted border overlaps with another's, don't worry: The submissions are not final, and you'll likely end up shifted slightly. If there's still an overlap, I'll split it based on geography and lore. RESOURCES: I didn't include an oil hotspot map for a reason: You need to actively look for oil and other resources yourselves. This is to prevent metagaming and stop people from trying to put their border EXACTLY over an oil hotspot intentionally. Trust me, I DID make a map on where different resources are common and where they aren't... But it's up to YOU to do some frontier stuff to get it.
