Yeah no I've changed my mind, I'm not going to finish VR1. It's not that it's too difficult, I already got the hard part done. All the rest of the development left is actually pretty easy (but also very tedious). It's not that I don't have the time, I have plenty of time to keep working on it. It's that I simply don't have the motivation necessary to put in the time to finish VR1. I've made it clear to myself that if I am to finish VR1, it will be before I graduate high school, but I no longer see how that is possible without committing lots of time to scratch, which is something I'm honestly not willing to do anymore considering I won't earn any money off of my game. There's other things in life I'd rather dedicate my time to. I also am going to leave scratch now, because for the past few years VR1 was really the only actual reason I remained on scratch. The main purpose of VR1 was for it to be the greatest racing game in all of scratch, and while I do think I am very capable of taking on that challenge, I don't have the motivation to continue. I might make a smaller game with VR1's driving engine and AI during late spring and summer to make what VR1 was originally going to be, which is a small but very well made racing game with only endurance cars, but I am not going to make the massive project I was planning. So yeah, VR1, or at least what VR1 was going to be, is not going to be finished and I will be leaving scratch for the most part. This project is the VR1 driving engine with the AI. The controls are WASD to move and U and J for shifting gears. You can press E, P, and the spacebar to view and change the settings.
