In Egypt, when he was a pup, he was found on the side of the road by a girl named Emma, and she took him in and cared for him. When he was healthy and 2 years old, she let him go back into the wilds of Egypt. Now he is lonely and wandering the deserts of Egypt, trying desperately to find her again. End of backstory lol
