INFORMATION ABOUT THIS EPISODE: Season Number: 2 Episode Number: 3 Total Episode Number: 48 Previous: The Plains Of Oklahoma Next: A Catastrophe In Red Ball's Ratehouse Synopsis: After Charmaine Geronime and her passengers 'Tom' & 'Jerry' get out of her car with Charmaine speaking in French to Tom & Jerry, they wreak havoc to the charming cliff village of Étretat, France. Plot: In France, Charmaine Geronime and her passengers 'Tom' & 'Jerry', drives to a casino in Étretat in route 'D940'. When she arrives at the casino, Charmaine Geronime brings Tom & Jerry outside; after that, Charmaine Geronime speaks to them in French that when they demolish the town of Étretat and its casino, they will face a situation in which Tom & Jerry will be thrown to a landfill with thousands of awful rats and cats alike. As such, Tom & Jerry didn't understand the language; it's probably that Tom & Jerry went to her at a restaurant in Le Havre, France so Jerry runs off and Tom chases after him to the Chapelle Notre-Dame-De-La-Garde, a chapel situated on a cliff with dramatic and stunning views. Jerry finds a wooden ladder, climbs on it, reaches the church's roof, and throws a big bomb on Tom, causing it to explode next to the church, shattering the windows and damaging the walls in the process. After this, Jerry laughs, throws a potato instead of a tomato to Tom, laughs again, jumps twice, and runs off throwing a medium-sized landmine. Germany, looking at his phone screen, accidentally walks onto this landmine, causing it to explode the eastern part of Étretat. After that, Jerry escapes out of the fiery area. While Jerry is escaping, Spain is seen wearing his gas mask. We can see fires all around 'LES JARDINS D'ÉTRETAT (THE GARDENS OF ÉTRETAT)' with France and another Germany (person) crying for help. Meanwhile, Jerry runs into the parking spot to the stunning arch cliffs of Étretat to see the 'English Channel'. Jerry looks left and was surprised to see Tom escaping out of this fiery eastern area of Étretat; thus, he laughs and throws a banana peel to Tom, causing it to slip both Tom and the banana peel as a result. After that, we can see an excited tourist from the United Kingdom (United Kingdom) create a big, fake landmine to blast (explode) Tom. Instead, the banana peel travels to the parking spot and onto the landmine, exploding the tourists, locals (called 'Étretatriens' (Singular: 'Étretatrien')), and even the entire golf course and the village alike. The once before charming cliff village Étretat has been turned to a fiery hell, burning forests and landmarks that people do not appreciate, and the peace alike. We can see the excited British tourist, Jerry, and Tom dead and burning, exploding cars, burning forests, another France burning and dead, and even Charmaine Geronime burning and dead, even her car explodes, ending the cartoon as a result of this catastrophe. Characters (Starring): Tom Cat Jerry Mouse Featuring: France (2X (Times)) Germany (2X (Times)) Spain Charmaine Geronime Tourists Étretatriens (Locals) United Kingdom Cast: Kayden Vella Ebejer - Tom Cat Nelson - HA HA & Lou Scheimer - Jerry Mouse & The United Kingdom Scratch's Text To Speech - Charmaine Geronime Scratch's Female Scream - Germany Goofs/Errors: While Charmaine Geronime is walking to the casino after speaking French with Tom & Jerry, her size is too wide to fit the rolling doors at the casino. Trivia: This is the second 'Tom & Jerry: Comedy Show' episode to set in Étretat, France, first only to 'A Gangster In Étretat'. It's also the only cartoon in Season 2 of 'Tom & Jerry: Comedy Show' to feature an owner (her nationality is French) and that they devastate (explode) a village because of their antics. The Title Card (Thumbnail) of this cartoon has a cyan background, but the area surrounding Tom and Jerry is crimson (dark red), even the director (creator) and the slogan have the same idea. Instead of throwing a tomato at Tom, Jerry throws a potato instead, but the banana peel gag remains the same. We can hear people gasping twice in this cartoon.
