Taq is still asleep, but he's doing better. His breathing has softened, and he mumbles words sometimes, indicating that he's dreaming. I find it charming that he always seems to be dreaming about holding someone - usually, he's mumbling "Tucker" or "Mama", so I'm pretty sure that they're good dreams. I just hope that they don't stretch on forever... Last night, I met up with Oscar. Admittedly, our first meeting wasn't great. Being kidnapped and having him make sure I don't escape wasn't exactly fun. But, a bit before Nibu attacked Taq, I found Oscar on the brink of his territory. We talked - briskly, at first - but we slowly started meeting up to just hang out. He's apologized how many times now, and he's a genuine cat. He told me that it was his brother's idea, and he tried talking him out of it, and the reason he was so aggressive was because he was mad. It wasn't right, and I don't entirely forgive the little weasel, but it's like he's a new cat. I suppose one good thing of Taq being out all day is that I can meet with the weasel without worrying too much. Though, he is getting more and more charming - or, I'm taking more of a liking to him - either way, I can see him becoming a big part of my life. I just hope that Taq would accept it.
Widowed mid-life cat with another mid-life, emotionally scarred cat? HECK YEAH Next: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1162056724/ First: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/907928519 Previous: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1106281364 I've been planning this for... like since Oscar got his big scar, so YEAH They mighhhhhht have kittens, I'm not sure yet cause 1. They live in two different colonies so I don't want it to be a cliche forbidden romance. 2. They're a bit old to be having kittens, and 3. We already have so many young cats I can't keep up :sob:
