Hi! If you didn't notice from the title of this project, I'm going to be taking a small break from Scratch. Most of you don't know this, but I actually have a life. (Shocker. I know.) My days are kinda busy, and with school, it's all just a little overwhelming. Another reason is this morning, I came onto Scratch to see that one of the people I followed liked and favored a post where they disagreed with Trump. While I don't agree with their opinion, it's still their opinion. However, that isn't what's wrong. Why in the world are we talking about politics here on scratch? I get it. You aren't happy with what's going on. But you have to remember, Scratch isn't a social media sight. (Though it looks like it's becoming one.) It's a website for coding, and not only that, it's a website for kids. Again, I'm not putting down anyone's opinion. People are different. But this isn't a place to talk about politics. And if you are, don't make it a place where you are just going to argue. This website isnt meant to do that. It was made as a simple website to help kids learn to code. Not to share policics, and things that they shouldnt really care about until they are older. You can try to argue with me about my opinion, but I won't start one, even of you tried. You have your opinion, and I have mine. And I don't think kids should have to have one on this topic either. Certainly not here. The point of all this is I'm going to take a day or two break off of Scratch. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
