At one point, he had been called Jey. Ever since he was little, he had loved the ocean with a passion unrivaled by anyone else living in the little town he belonged to. Unable to breathe under the water, he was miserable on dry land. So he took up swimming, but as a cat was not that great at it. So he took to alternatives. Magic. He sifted through all the books he could get his tiny paws on, and finally found the perfect thing. A transformation spell! So he set it up, gathered all the things, and recited the incantation. Something went wrong that night on the beach. (Art #6) Instead of being turned into a fish for 24 hours, he became a little cat-axolotl-sea slug hybrid. He hadn't realized what he had done, and looked down at his cat paws instead of fish fins, wondering what had happened. He had also started glowing, which got his attention. So he turned around... (art #2) And was startled by the sudden appearance of fins and horns. At first, he freaked out, thinking, 'What am I going to do?', but looked back at the sea. He walked back to his little house and left a note, reading: "Gone to the ocean- sea you!" And plunged in from a little rocky overhang into the dark sea below. (Art #3) He was immediately overwhelmed and exicted by everything he saw down there.
