On February 6, 2025, a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan flying with Bering Air crashed in ice. 10 people were onboard, including the pilot, and all 10 died. This is the 6th aircraft crash this year (counting an Airbus lighting itself on fire) and the 3rd fatal plane accident in 2025.
