The Super Bowl, also known as the Big Game, is happening today, but this project isn't just to celebrate the end of this year's American football season, but also pay tribute to the work of the late Charles M. Schulz and his comic strip, Peanuts, who this Thursday, will mark 25 years since its final comic strip was published. One thing that's common with Peanuts and the Super Bowl is football. Every year, we would see Good Ol' Charlie Brown trying to kick the football from Lucy, only for her to pull it away as Charlie Brown lands on his back. This is perhaps my favorite gag of the strip, so I thought I'd reenact it with two of my OCs: Logan and Abby. Talk about siblings having fun, eh?
Credit to Charles M. Schulz for the inspiration.
