Akvila's leader had accepted the duel. Later that month, in the gladiatorial arena in the capital of Traveja, the people watched as their King went against the self-proclaimed Emporer of Boravia, both wielding longswords. Upon the start, the Emporer paced around a little, as if confused, but began to guard against a couple of strong blows from Akvila's King. Shortly afterwards, the mysterious man counterattacked, grazing the king's shoulder, before they take turns exchanging blows. It became clear that the Boravian Emporer was badly hurt and exhausted. They locked swords, but it was broken by Akvila's King using a half-sword thrust to cut the Emporer's neck, before ending the battle by bashing in the poor Emporer's skull with a mordhau. He would quickly die in the hospital, and Akvila's leader made a swift recovery. The Travejan people have been moved by this, considering the possibility that Akvila's leader was destined to rule.
