His father was never around, for reasons Karmanor didn't know, and his mother died a couple years into his life. Alone and hungry, Karmanor made his way out of the thick woods and to a Twoleg (human) town where he met a group of strays who lived together in the alleys of the town. Karmanor stayed there, although he didn't particularly enjoy the noise and filth of the town; he preferred nature. As he grew up, Karmanor fell in love with a she-cat in the group of loners. Her name was Ceres. Ceres could be kind and sweet, and that was the part Karmanor loved. But Ceres could also be selfish, arrogant, and mean, and it was that part of her that made Karmanor leave. The two of them had started a relationship, and had only been together for a few months when Ceres realized she was pregnant. While Karmanor was overjoyed at the idea of kits, Ceres was not. The pregnancy made her even more unbearable, and when the kits were born, it was soon realized that Ceres did not have any maternal instincts whatsoever. She refused to suckle the kits and care for them, and none of the other rouges would either. So, one stormy night, Karmanor pulled an old yellow bandanna from a Twoleg dumpster. He tied it around his neck and stuck the two kits inside, as a makeshift sling. He then left, heading for the woods, but was confronted by Ceres before he was able to leave fully. Ceres screamed at him, hurling insults and accusing him of loving the kits more than her. (which, honestly, by that point was kind of true) She told him to dump the kits and stay with her, but Karmanor refused and began to enter the forest. Ceres screamed and threatened for him to return, that she would follow him and kill the kits so he would then return to her. Karmanor ignored Ceres, and left for a better life. After many weeks of wandering, Karmanor and the two kits, Eubouleus and Khrysothemis, came upon The Olympian Rouge Group living in the woods. The rouge group took Karmanor and the kits in, and right away Karmanor knew that the Olympians were the place to stay. So the kits were raised by permanent queens in the Olympians nursery, Karmanor started working in the Olympians' garden where he could be with nature all day, his son Eubouleus had an affair and a kit, Karmanor invented popcorn for cats accidentally, and all in all, they lived their lives out peacefully within the rouge group. However, Karmanor was still a bit in love with Ceres, and the terrible things she had said had broken his heart. His kits were able to fill part of that hole, but it took Karmanor a little while to get over it. He was always on guard and a bit paranoid, though, that one day Ceres might return to fulfill her threat. ——- ⚘ -—— ART: 1. og ref (soo adorable!!) 2. my ref! 3. cornucopia! so happy with the shading on this!!! (this was supposed to be a sticker, with no bg, but i think i messed something up when i uploaded it because it now has a white bg T.T) 4. corn maze <3 (thank the lord for copy and paste lol, this took me SO long to color and shade all of the corn - i did get a little lazy with the bg corn shading tho...) i was going to draw a couple more scenes that had Ceres, the kits, and Karmanor inventing popcorn in it, but i ran out of time. sry about that! ꒰ ★ WHAT I WILL DO WITH HIM. . . i will most likely use him in the comic i will be doing after my current one, A Story in the Stars (go read it pls!!), is finished. Ceres would probably end up being one of the villains in the comic. i will also use him for map parts, pmvs/amvs, and just draw art of him in general!
