He has gone through some modifications to his body like changing his face to a screen. Soundwave has 4 partner minicons which are Laserbeak, Ravage, Rumble, and Frenzy. He shares a strong bond with his minicons and genuinely cares about them. He was inspired by Megatron's speeches and decided to join his cause. Now Soundwave is one of Megatron's most loyal followers.
