Instructions

Knights " Ridders ": 13th century Grobenwald knights, or otherwise known as Ridders, were heavily armored mounted soldiers. They either served as elite fighters, or guarded the king from any threat. They were typically chosen from noble families, trained in combat from a young age, and required to prove their skills in battle or tournaments before being officially entitled as a knight. In battle, they fought with swords, lances, and shields, often leading cavalry charges or engaging in hand-to-hand combat, and were expected to uphold the Covenant of the everlasting shield. A code of chivalry which emphasized loyalty, bravery, and honor Footman " Fodmand ": In the 13th century, footmen were common infantry soldiers who played a vital role in battle, serving as the backbone of the army. They were often peasants or lower-class men who were either conscripted or volunteered to fight in exchange for wages or promises of land, however, this was usually not the case. In battle, footmen fought in tight formations with spears, axes, or swords, often holding defensive lines, engaging in close combat, or providing support to knights and cavalry by disrupting enemy formations or protecting flanks.
