Following recent reforms, Akvilan casualties have been able to recover far quicker, helping boost the offensive capabilities of the army. Akvila begins a counteroffensive. The Kyrkonian leader describes the Akvilan defense as 'Nothing short of a miracle that had us fighting tooth and nail, having many of our boys killed for mere inches of land'. Akvila has also been struggling, but is using the advantage of the freezing winter the best they can, trying to draw in a Kyrkonian offensive that would 'bleed their forces dry'.
