Maple and Ryan, my sweet babies, have grown over the years with me. Just in case you don't know who they are, here is some SEEMINGLY ENDLESS LORE for u! I first created this loveable duo when I was 4. It just started as a thought. "What if cats could talk, think, and go to school like humans?". I started thinking, and the designs for these cats weren't fully developed until I was 8. Ryan started out as a grumpy, white & gray cat with a dramatic aura. Maple was just the side character, a little orange kitty. This wasn't supposed to start out as a funny comic series, just a little thing to cheer me up when I was sad. By the time I was 6, I had so many ideas bubbling up in my head that I had to write them all down! A year later, when I learned the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words", I started drawing the pictures of what I had in mind. That's when Maple became more that just the side character, but the co-main character. And, trust me, Ryan wasn't happy to share this spot. That's also when I changed Ryan's fur color to brown, because I thought it fit his eyes. Maple developed some white, and when I just turned 8, I found Scratch. WOW! This is cool! I can post my comics ONLINE?! CAT CREATORS?! Woah; the cutest accessory: cat glasses. That's how Maple found her spectacles. Most of my Maple and Ryan comics were banned because sometimes people have problems. But, if you were lucky enough to glimpse them, you would know how young and immature they started out, and now they are growing up. Professor Maple and Principal Ryan. Yup, they're still at the Feline Academy: School for Cats! Just so you know, their shenanigans will never stop!
