This is going to be a WIP for a while lol. 1- the original design by @Ytankai-Okhahu 2- lil doodle page with a few head canons 3- A card design that I'm very proud of. Meant to showcase Cadence's two different sides. One out going and flirtatious, the other scared and low key dying inside. 4- showtime. Where's the light coming from? Nobody knows. 5- doodlesssss. This is Cadence. Her story isn’t set in stone just yet…. But this is what I thought of the moment I saw her and though it is rather dark… I quite like it. ____________________________________ Cadence is a young lady who makes a living performing for various groups of (usually wealthy) khelkans. She works for a kind arreliume (or something else. Arreliume just seemed to fit this role well) who provides her with all the comfort and luxury she could ask for. In return, Cadence dances and seduces the groups she performs for. The harder they swoon, the better the pay, the better her day. Truthfully, Cadence doesn’t care very much for her job and would much rather spend her time with khelkans her own age… maybe playing some dumb teenager games… that’s a thing they do, right? But she can’t bring herself to leave the arreliume (who I am dubbing Ryken) alone like that. After all, he took her in all those years ago when she was just a chick! Wandering the wilderness all alone! She would be dead if not for him! He gave her purpose! At least… that’s what he’s told her all these years… But she can’t help but wonder… and- she knows it’s crazy to think such a thing- but… what if Ryken… is wrong? ____________________________________ So, that’s basically the story I’ve got at this point… I’m debating making her less submissive and more of a fireball who resents Ryken and is constantly looking for a way out… but basically she’s a performer who hates her job and wants to know what real love is, instead of this fake lust she’s seen all her life. She’s also pretty sure she was kidnapped but is afraid to admit it.
