Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS. Monsters wielded the powers of MAGIC, while the humans did not. This divided the two races in their culture and ways of life. The monsters relied more on their magic and traditions, while the humans relied more on their technology and advancement of said technology. Luckily, these two races and lifestyles lived in relative coexistance.. until.. ..no one was quite sure what happened that day.. who fired the first shot.. ..but it matters naught. The humans were victorious, and forced the monsters into exile on a space city in the binary star system of Zeta Aquilae, where they we're forced into the human way of life and forced to meet quotas for their greedy corporations.. ..many years later.. 21XX Earth had long become nearly inhospitable, with the death of both nationalism and internationalism.. ..all that remained.. ..was loyalty to various factions and corporations.. ..not that it matters now. ..it is said that those who cruise by Zeta Aquilae.. ..never return.. ..and so it has been.
This is the prologue dialogue for an Outertale reimagining based on the old video game series "Descent". I found the game and its lore really interesting, and I thought of Undertale (and Outertale) alot while reading about it, so I made this. Yes, I know, I'm working on alot of stuff, but bare with me here. Uh, don't really know what to say right now, so.. hope you enjoyed! Bye!
