The leader of the pack decided to split them up-but only as a trap. He did not think that 50 wolves could share a piece of land together. So he sent them into different areas so he could attack them and weaken them and eventually think of a plan to get them to stay in the area. So the next day he saw a bunch of boulders on the mountain and he pushed them off the cliff and it kept the wolves into their own area. They never saw the wolf again..
