PLEASE READ BEFORE PLAYING!! - Use the arrow keys, WASD keys, or mobile buttons to move around, you can't jump but you can duck which can help if you're stuck. Luigi can cling onto walls, floors, and ceilings no matter what. You should press the flag at least 3 times each time you play, you may also need to refresh if anything seems broken. There are 9 levels so far in the game, and you win the level if you touch that yellow orb. This used to be just a very incomplete Mario engine without jumping that sort of got turned into a "game", but now this project is something I'm very passionate about. I hope I can turn this into a full game. Devlog - [1.0] - Pre-alpha. 1.1 - Updated level 8. 1.2 - Updated level 4 and 5. 1.4 - Added a level display. 1.5 - Updated level 5 (again) and 3. 1.6 - Updated level 5 (again??) 1.7 - Updated level 2 and level 5 for the last time. 1.8 - Updated level 2 again. 1.9 - Fixed the level display. 1.91 - Updated level 2, which is actually level 1 now. [1.94] - Fixed a lot of bugs and code in general and made restarting levels fully functional. Level 8 and 4 have been updated a bit too. The levels aren't randomized anymore and are now in an actual order. [1.97] - This is a really big update, I can't even remember how many things have been added or fixed but I'll try to list them all here. Fixed sounds, winning, dying, levels, bugs. Added crouching in mid-air, score, a timer, outlines and shadows to levels, a stop sign detector, a glowing effect when Luigi wins a level, and a sound effect when "Press space" appears. 1.98 - More bugs fixed... Note as of April 1st (not an april fools joke) - Game demo's almost finished, just a day or two and it'll be done. (ended up being finished on april 2nd yay) [2.0 Beta Demo] - Here's the new demo for what the game will be like! There's a whole bunch of new things in this update. A new title screen, redesigned levels, bug fixes, level 9 finally being completed, a totally legit loading screen, a cat, new backgrounds, new effects, new moving objects!? This demo is a small fraction of what I want the the finished game to be like, I hope you enjoy it. The game's name has also been changed from "Luigi Walks Inside a Wall" to "Luigi's Collision Problem" for this update, since it was just overall a better name. I forgot at what point I wrote the story for this game, but it's definitely outdated. I'm only putting the old story here for archival purposes - After accidentally going through a wall, Luigi has recently discovered that he could traverse and cling onto anything. One week later, he suddenly woke up in some sort of maze with no indication of how he got there in the first place or where an exit could be. He realized that each time he'd touch some sort of yellow orb, he would pass out and wake up in either the same maze or a completely new one. What will Luigi find on his seemingly endless journey? 2.2 - Fixed a couple of bugs, updated level 9, added sounds to the moving spikes as well as tweaking them. 2.3 - Made it so Luigi is slower in level 9, thus making it easier. 2.4 - Added level 10, horizontally moving platforms, and changed the play and Wega buttons. 2.41 - Updated the cat sign, as well as tweaking level 9 and 10 a bit. [2.5] - Added mobile controls! 2.6 - Added a hint on how to beat level 2 if you die twice in that level, as well as re-adjusting the mobile button's positions and sizes. The direction the Luigi on the loading screen goes in is now randomized, just for fun. 2.65 - Fixed a slight issue with not being able to respawn after dying on mobile. 2.67 - Added another hint in level 3. 2.7 - Added a pretty tough level, it's more of a placeholder for now. I also made it so when you touch the cat, it appears on your hud. 2.72 - Gave the cat a new costume when he appears on your hud, as well as updating level 11 to be easier. 2.8 - Added new designs for the mobile controls, as well as changing the "Press space." text to "Press retry." for mobile users. 2.9 - Added spanish (not fully finished due to my friend not being online) and french translations, because why not? I also updated the english "Press retry." text to make it look better and more clear. 2.91 - Added three unique sounds to each flag when you press on one of them. 2.92 - Finally added the spanish text on the title screen, as well as replacing "Pulsar" by "Pulsa" and "convulsión" by "epilepsia" (Thanks to @FunnyDoodlesGal for making the spanish translation accurate). 2.94 - Fixed the spikes not always killing you due to color detection instead of sprite detection, as well as adding a death counter. I also made the title screen background look a bit less plain. 2.97 - This update is very close to being 3.0, but there's still much more I wanna add. Added a settings option, hardcore mode, removed "The HUH?" UI due to the event being over, fixed some levels being impossible due to the spikes, added a glow and a sound to the cat when you collect it, fixed a couple bugs and added level 12. 2.98 - Made the options a bit more distanced from each other, as well as adding a sound for when you hover your mouse on it. More spikes have been fixed too. Note as of May 8 - Version 3.0 won't be released before a while, and the game will be under construction for a pretty long time before finally releasing the update. Note as of June 14 - Hey, it's been a while. I rewrote a lot of the code to make it less janky, and the only things left to do is add new levels and mechanics. Stay tuned!
