a great species once lived underground. They were very deadly, and vicious. That lead them to kill each other, and die. They became fossils. above ground, was a dystopian land which was digging a hole underground to explore, and soon had to live there because of an apocalypse, (not the kirton, water thing and firething one) and became known as... Subtown. anyways, after many years, one fortunate fossil got corrupted with darkness, and came to life again. But wherever he went, the other fossils started slightly coming to life too.
