The thorns cut her paws as she ran, but she didn't care. The endless dark void followed her as if it was a shadow slowly engulfing her entire body. "Help.." She whispered meekly, but the pain was too much too much bear. As she stumbled, she noticed a glowing beam of light, exactly what she was looking for. The golden light emanated in the darkness of the shadows. It seemed to chase away the doubts in her mind. Suddenly, there was a rustle in the leaves. A chesnut colored tom-cat jumped out. "Ah.....you must be the brat who stole our golden hunt. " The cat murmured softly, he laughed quietly. Daisy's tail twitched. The cat slowly came closer. There was a red gleam in his eyes. A smirk formed out of the corner of his mouth. Daisy couldn't go backwards. Either she gets enveloped by the black void or she becomes a meal. She wished she could redo things, to make amends for her actions. If she didn't take the golden deer for her ill and starving family, they would all die. Back then, she didn't know the consenquences for taking the deer. Now, there was a greedy black void swallowing everything she loved in this world. Her clan was gone, the only place she felt like home was gone, and now herself. There was no way she could stop the terror without the golden light. Her leg stopped working and she collapsed. What should she do now? TO BE CONTINUED
