It was the Master Emerald, he ordered his troops to take it to the capital to research and study it. This greatly angered the ancient god, Chaos. You see, the Master emerald was a home for a small colony of chao, which Chaos protected, after Deltoid's army took it, it angered Chaos. Chaos stormed the capital and kill 2.000 soldiers in one swipe, and brought down the capital city with Deltoid. Deltoid did survive and he ran away to a different tribe, where he was assassinated.
