im working on the game and im gonna learn blender to do some 3D modeling for it so the 2.5D look can be more accurate and realistic I'll trace over the 3D render with Scratch's vector tools to make it 2.5D I could just take screenshots of 3D renders with a bunch of 2D-styled filters on them like cell-shading, but for me, it still looks very 3D even when stuff has those filters. it's kinda like the uncanny valley but instead of trying to make things look human it's about trying to make things look 2D and it's not creepy at all I'm only saying this because I want your opinion: should the characters remain 2D sprites (always front-facing or with their back turned, with shading to reflect the lighting while still feeling super 2D) OR I could try making them 3D, styled after their existing sprites (makes them feel more like they're actually there, but makes it harder to work on and it might look kinda off). the 2D option would still have 2D sprites in 3D poses and angles. it would look like a sheet of paper standing up the 3D option still has the 3D renders traced over in 2D, so it's 2.5D like the environment also blender tips plz if you have them
