Use with credit Here's a video of our F4U-1 and F4U-4 when they were newly restored back in 2007, performing the January flight demo. Our F4U-1 Birdcage Corsair is one of the only few, if not the only, Corsair with a functioning shell starter. Yes, our F4U-1 was painted in the tricolor livery of VF-17 from its restoration until 2015. The F4U-4 was in a 1945 livery with the last 3 digits of its serial number painted on the side. It was repainted for the Devotion movie, but hasn't been repainted even after filming.
