This is my dog OC blizzard! Here is info about Blizzard provided in the notes and credits section:

Description

Character: Name: Blizzard (though sometimes referred to as "Liz" by close friends) Race: White Jog (a fictional, bipedal, dog-like species with thick fur, known for their agility and a natural affinity for snow and cold climates). Jogs are typically social creatures, valuing pack loyalty and cooperative living. They have sharp claws, keen senses, and a powerful bark. Appearance: Blizzard stands taller than most of her kind, with a thick, pristine white coat that can sometimes appear almost luminous in the moonlight. Her eyes are a striking icy blue, and a small scar runs across her snout from a childhood scuffle. She has powerful leg muscles built for speed and leaping. Motivation and Goals: Primary Motivation: Blizzard is driven by a deep-seated need for belonging and purpose. Growing up, she always felt like an outsider within her pack, and her primary goal is to find true acceptance and a way to contribute meaningfully to the world. Secondary Goal: She also harbors a desire to understand her own unique abilities, particularly her uncanny ability to sense changes in the weather and her unusual connection to the wind and snow. She wants to master these gifts, not just for herself, but for the protection of others. Long-Term Goal: Blizzard dreams of establishing a haven where all Jogs, and even other species, can live in peace and harmony, with mutual respect and understanding. Significant Events: The Great Blizzard: As a young pup, Blizzard experienced a devastating blizzard that decimated her pack's territory. Many were lost, and her own family was scattered. While she and her mother survived, the experience left a deep emotional scar, teaching her about the unpredictability and harshness of the world. It also ignited her desire to protect others from such tragedy and to better understand weather patterns. The Outcast: Because of her unusually powerful connection to the wind and weather, young Blizzard was seen as different by her pack. Some thought she was blessed, others feared her, and many just didn't understand her. This led to further alienation and a feeling that she didn't truly belong. Unable to fit in, she often wandered off by herself, spending her time honing her abilities and speaking to the wind. The Wanderer's Guidance: During her solitary wanderings, she encountered an elderly, wise Jog named Lyra. Lyra saw potential in Blizzard and taught her how to channel her abilities, how to listen to the whispers of the wind and ice, and how to control the power within. This mentorship provided Blizzard with a sense of purpose and hope. The Broken Pact: While wandering, Blizzard stumbles upon the ruins of an ancient Jog settlement, destroyed in a cataclysmic fight long ago. She learns that the Jogs were not always peaceful; their history is marred by a dark pact that caused division and war, and she is saddened to see the consequences of a broken community. This reinforces her desire to build something better. Relationships: Mother (Eira): She loves her mother deeply, though they are very different. Eira is traditional and struggles to understand Blizzard's unique abilities. Their relationship is strained by her mother's fears for Blizzard's safety. Lyra (Mentor): The elderly Jog who took Blizzard under her wing. Lyra is not of her blood, but she becomes a surrogate grandmother to Blizzard. Their bond is one of mutual respect and understanding. Lyra teaches her not just about her powers, but about her responsibility to use them wisely. The Wind and Snow: Blizzard develops a deep familiarity with the elements. The wind becomes like a friend and confidant, and the snow, rather than being a force of nature she fears, becomes something she can communicate with and use for navigation. Potential Friends/Allies: As she grows, Blizzard begins to encounter other Jogs, and perhaps even members of other species who are open to her and her unique abilities. She is slow to trust, but longs for true connection. Potential Rivals/Enemies: There are those who do not understand her connection to weather, or who see her powers as a threat, leading to conflict. Growth and Change: Initial State: Blizzard begins as a somewhat withdrawn, awkward, and insecure young Jog. She's deeply aware of her differences and feels like an outcast. Mid-Point: Through mentorship and her own experiences, Blizzard begins to gain confidence and a sense of purpose. She learns to harness her abilities and understands that her differences are what make her special. Final State (Ongoing): Blizzard evolves into a strong, compassionate, and courageous leader. She becomes a beacon of hope for those seeking belonging. However, she still struggles with the weight of her responsibilities and carries the scars of her past. She learns that leadership means not only protecting, but listening and learning from others as well. She understands that her journey is not over, and that the goal of building her haven will require resilience and commitment.
