✰✰✰ Indigo Pov: I Was Having A Wonderful Dream But Was Woken Up By The Sound Of Annoying Beeps. "Ugh" I Sat Up And Hit The Button On My Phone Which Was At 5%. 'Great' I Thought As I Rolled My Eyes, My First Day At A New School And My Phone Was Practically Dead. I Have Absolutely ZERO Social Skill, My Phone Is My Best Friend. I Left My Phone On The Charger In Hopes It WOuld Charge A Little More While I GOt Ready. I Had Absolutely No Clue What To Wear, So I Threw On My Go To; A Pair Of Old, Worn Out, Black Jeans With Rips, A Collared Shirt, And A Black Crewneck. Checking My Phone (Which Was Now At 20) I Realized I Was Going TO Be Late. Grabbing My Backpack I Ran Downstairs And Out The Door, It Was A Ten Minute Walk From My House To School. When I Arrived There Was Absolutely No One On Campus. I Checked My Phone Again And Realized It Was SIX Thirty, Not Seven. Groaning I Go To Sit On, What Seemed To Be, The Only Bench On Campus And Scrolled On My Phone. "Hello." A Voice Said, I Was So Transfixed On My Phone I Hadn't Even Realized Someone Had Sat Next To Me. I Jumped; The Person Laughed. "Uh, Hi?" They Looked At Me Curiously, My Face Turned Red; I HATE Being Inspected. "You're New, Aren't You?" I Just Nodded. "Cool." They Smiled; They Were Honestly Not That Bad Looking. They Had Dark Blue Hair, Which Definitely Was Not Natural, Hazel Eyes, And Freckles. They Pulled Out A Book And Started Reading, So, I Went Back TO My Phone. But I Couldn't Help But Notice Them Glance At Me Every So Often With Curiosity In Their Eyes.
Slowly Students Started Pouring In, And Soon Enough, The Bell Rang. Me And The Mystery Person Parted Ways Assumingly To Our first Period. My First Period Was Photography, Sadly, We Got To Pick Our Own Seats. Seeing As I Didn't Know ANyone, I Just Stood There. But To My Surprise Two Girls And A Boy Waved Me OVer, Suspiciously I Glided Towards Their Table. "Hey! You Look Cool!" One Of The Girls Called, "I'm Ruby! She/Her" Ruby Had Bleach Blonde Hair And Tan SKin, A Stereotypical "California Girl", Quiet The Opposite OF Me. "This Is Jordan, They Go By She/They Pronouns" She Said Pointing At A Girl With Long Black HAir And Glasses who looked up and waved, "And THat's Alex." Ruby Pointed Across The Table At The Boy, He Smiled "He Doesn't Talk Much But He's Really Nice." She Explained. "We Have Another Friend, But Xir Always Late." She Rolled Her Eyes As She Said THis. "Uh, Hi, I'm Indigo...Uhm They/Them." I Said, Still Standing. "Indigo! What A Fantastic Name! Come On, Have A Seat!" I Took An Open Chair Next Alex And Got My Phone Out. The Door To The Classroom Opened And Closed With A Loud Slam. Suddenly There Was Someone Sitting Across From Me. I Looked Up, And There They Were, The MYstery Person. "Angel!! There You Are! Finally!" Ruby Exclaimed. " We've Been Waiting For.Ever!" "Heh, Sorry 'Bout That, I Kinda Was Looking For Someone." And It Was At That Moment When Xe Noticed I Was Sitting Across From Xem. "Oh!" Ruby Exclaimed "This Is Indigo! They're Really Cool!" "Indigo, Huh?
